ROI is a global community of young Jewish leaders that was created by Lynn Schusterman. ROI’s objective is to cultivate a prestigious international network of young Jewish leaders in their 20s and 30s who are at the forefront of local, global and virtual initiatives that offer innovative and diverse paths for connecting to Jewish life.

Since its establishment in 2005, ROI has become the preeminent global community of young, innovative and creative Jewish leaders seeking to transform the Jewish world into a more interconnected, exciting and widely accessible global community. Whatever their areas of interest – from education to technology to Israel advocacy to social justice to the environment – ROI offers international networking opportunities, professional development and financial support to its members.

Built around intensive gatherings like the annual ROI Global Summit as well as regional and local conferences, ROI enhances community by assembling and empowering leaders and activists who embrace the diversity and dynamic nature of Jewish life. ROI prides itself on the ability to magnify individual leaders and the impact they have on communities as small as their hometowns and as expansive as the virtual world.

Equally encouraging of projects carried out within local Jewish communities and universal initiatives based on Jewish values, ROI reinforces the principle that fresh ideas and creative approaches can make a change in the world. Through programs like the ROI Seed Grants and Micro Grants, ROI supports initiatives that broaden access to Jewish life, enables experiences that advance and leverage the international ROI network, and promotes the personal and professional development of its members.

The ROI network now includes more than 500 outstanding young Jewish leaders in their 20s and 30s residing in nearly 40 countries, and has sponsored 65 member initiatives.
